Summer Martin

Staff: Associate Director of Research and Practice

Summer Martin is an arts education and integrative health gerontologist with substantial technical and professional experience focused on crafting public programming with the purpose of enhancing community resilience. Significant work experience in domestic and international grant management, coupled with meaningful study and travel in West Africa, South and Southeast Asia, and Europe informs Summer’s perspective on the integration of the arts and traditional health practices in the curation of community health initiatives.

Summer holds dual BAs in History and International Relations from Mount Holyoke College, an MSc in Integrative Health Promotion from Maryland University of Integrative Health, as well as an MSc in Gerontology from University of Utah College of Nursing with special focus on the role of the arts in Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Dementias.
