Dipika Guha
Playwright: Merry Wives of Windsor
Dipika Guha was born in Kolkata and raised in India, Russia and the UK. Her plays include Yoga Play, The Art of Gaman and Unreliable. She is currently under commission from Manhattan Theatre Club, South Coast Repertory, and Berkeley Rep. Her work has been developed at New Dramatists, the Ma Yi Writers Lab, the WP Lab, Ars Nova’s Playgroup, Soho Rep W/D Lab, Geffen Writers Room, Playwrights Foundation and Playwrights Center. For TV, she’s written on American Gods, Sneaky Pete, projects at AMC and Netflix, two seasons of Black Monday and The Marvelous Mrs Maisel on Amazon. She’s written a pilot for FilmNation and is currently adapting a novel for TV with A24. Dipika received her BA in English Literature at University College London, was a Frank Knox Fellow at Harvard University and was awarded her MFA from the Yale School of Drama under Paula Vogel.
