Shakespeare’s archetypal slapstick comedy, now with updated jokes and wordplay. Tony Award Nominee Christina Anderson’s translation dives deep into the joy of the original text, reinterpreting the metaphor, antiquated slang, and double and triple entendre for a contemporary audience.

As part of the city-wide Shakespeare Everywhere Festival, Conservatory faculty members will participate in Try It In Translation, which compares original Shakespeare texts with modern, contemporary translations and adaptions commissioned by Play On Shakespeare. This event is free and open to the public, but registration is encouraged!
