Cheryl Rizzo

Cheryl Rizzo (she/her) is a seasoned theatre professional who prior to Play On, served several years as Managing Director of the intimate performing arts nonprofit, Boston Court Pasadena. Prior to her time in Los Angeles, she worked with legendary Broadway producer Joan Stein and general manager Albert Poland. These two mentors introduced her to the inner workings of the commercial theatre industry and she was forever hooked. Living in Los Angeles it is a requirement to do at least a brief stint into TV/Film and Cheryl did hers when Stein joined Steve Martin to start their own TV production company with a development deal at Carsey Werner. Cheryl holds a Masters in Public Administration (MPA) with a Nonprofit focus from California State University, Northridge and a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) from Ithaca College in Theatrical Production and Design. Thank you for supporting live theatre.
